A comprehensive benchmarking framework called Maturity Maps has been introduced to measure organizational AI and agent adoption across six critical dimensions, including deployment depth, systems integration, and governance. The framework draws from over 480 studies representing more than 150,000 survey respondents collected in the last quarter, providing the most expansive reference point to date for understanding corporate AI readiness. According to the data underlying the Maturity Maps, most organizations are underperforming on nearly every measured dimension of AI adoption. The framework enables companies to assess their current position and identify gaps against best-in-class benchmarks, as the enterprise sector increasingly recognizes AI's potential to drive significant productivity gains. Industry analysts have highlighted the potential for agentic AI to unlock up to $3 trillion in productivity improvements, making such assessment tools critical for strategic decision-making around whether organizations should build, buy, or partner for AI capabilities.
